1951 Ford

l_ba45f46df6e7893b092d9c138cad4730 This 1951 Ford was built in a mild custom style with modern street machine touches. The drip rails, door handles and some trim was shaved, the bumpers flipped, molded in and painted, partial rear belly pan, serious kick-up in both front and rear frames sections to lay down when the Air Ride is deflated. Super-huge 20″ and 22″ one off Colorado Custom billets with the centers painted satin black for an evil look, wrapped in BFGoodrich rubber. Chassis has a Scott’s Super Slam front end with bags and polished stainless a arms, rear features a Air Ride polished stainless triangulated four link with Air RIde bags. Brakes all around are polished 6 piston polished Wilwoods grabbing onto coated, drilled and vented 13″ rotors. Frame is all smoothed and painted body color. Bottom of body is done in color matched bed liner. Body has reworked font fenders for Jeep Liberty headlights, and slicked off with DuPont materials throughout.

Engine is a wicked healthy 460 Ford big block built by Auto Rons of Davenport Iowa, stuffed with parts from Comp Cams, lots of cool features, custom valve covers with extra cove section to hide plug wires from top view, custom air cleaner/engine cover. Lots of custom engine sheetmetal, hand made inner fenders, radiator support and cover, custom Allstar Performance radiator, Zoops brackets and pulleys. A heavy duty trans from TCI was used. Exhaust features Flowmaster mufflers.

Interior features a full custom center pod dash with custom Auto Meter gauges, custom sheetmetal console, all painted to match the ultra leather stitched up by Carrie Strange. Wiring is Painless Performance and Stereo is Kicker.
